Here is a list of our plants that are currently in operation:

Grahamstown Water Treatment Plant

Grahamstown Water Treatment Plant can treat water from Grahamstown Dam and/or Tomago Sandbeds. The plant has a peak supply capacity of 257 megalitres per day, making it our largest water treatment plant.

Grahamstown Water Treatment plant uses conventional treatment through the following processes:

  • coagulation/flocculation
  • sedimentation
  • filtration
  • pH correction
  • disinfection
  • fluoridation.

Dungog Water Treatment Plant

Dungog Water Treatment Plant treats water from Chichester Dam and has a peak supply capacity of 90 megalitres per day.

The treatment plant uses direct filtration, and includes the following processes:

  • coagulation/flocculation
  • contact filtration
  • pH correction
  • disinfection
  • fluoridation.

Lemon Tree Passage Water Treatment Plant

Lemon Tree Passage Water Treatment Plant treats water from the north-eastern end of the Tomago Sandbeds and provides a peak supply capacity of 5 megalitres per day.

The treatment plant uses two-stage filtration, and includes the following processes:

  • aeration
  • coagulation/flocculation
  • two stage filtration
  • pH correction
  • disinfection
  • fluoridation.

Anna Bay Water Treatment Plant
