Get help paying
If need flexibility paying your Hunter Water bill, we offer support options tailored to your situation.
Payment extension
If your payment isn’t overdue, you can extend the due date by up to 6 weeks in My Account, or call 1300 657 657 (8am–5pm, Monday to Friday) and choose 'Request a payment extension'.
Once the extension is confirmed, we will pause any collection or restriction activity on the property. Interest will still apply for an overdue balance. If the bill is not paid by the extension due date, collection action will continue.
Smaller, regular payments - Easy Pay
Make budgeting easier by paying your bill in equal weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments.
Our system works out your instalment amount based on your chosen payment frequency and the total of your bills from the past 12 months. There are no late fees or interest if you stay on the plan.
We review your account each year, adjust your instalments to keep your balance on track and let you know your new instalment amount.
