Pollution monitoring results
We collect pollution monitoring data as required under the Environment Protection Licences (EPLs) issued by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA).
We are managing a naturally occurring taste and odour compound (MIB) in the Grahamstown water supply, which may cause earthy or musty flavours for some customers, but the water remains safe to drink.

The main measures of performance relate to biochemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, pH, grease, total nitrogen, ammonia, total Phosphorus and thermotolerant coliforms specified in the licence for each plant.
