Payment options

We’ve set up a variety of payment options to suit your needs and make managing your water bill easy.

  • Visa or Mastercard

    Make an immediate payment online using your Visa or Mastercard. You'll need to enter the payment reference number on your bill.

  • BPAY

    Pay via your internet banking site using the BPAY logo on your bill.

    Use Hunter Water’s Biller Code 747717 and your 11 digit reference number located on your bill.

  • Direct debit

    Automatically pay your bills from a nominated savings, cheque or credit card account.

    Set up direct debit quickly and securely by logging in to My Account.

    Pay in full on the due date. You can also pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly with Easy Pay.

    Manage your direct debit in My Account anytime. You don’t need to update us if you’ve been issued a new expiry date on your card – it does not impact your direct debit with Hunter Water.

    To register for My Account, all you need is a copy of your Hunter Water bill.

    Terms and conditions apply when using credit card for direct debit.

    You can also contact our team for help and we'll set it up with you within 3 days of receiving your request.

  • Easy Pay - Make your bill more manageable

    Take control and spread out your estimated, yearly water and sewer costs into affordable, more regular payments. It's a great way to make your payments more predictable or to align with your pay cycle.

    You can set up to pay the same amount each week, fortnight or month.

    Set up Easy Pay, paying by direct debit, quickly and securely in My Account. To register for My Account, all you need is a copy of your Hunter Water bill.

    Use the Easy Pay request form to pay using BPAY and our team will set it up within 3 days of receiving your request.

  • Centrepay

    To pay using Centrepay, contact Centrelink and provide Hunter Water's CRN: 555052571V.

  • Australia Post

    Visit any Australia Post office to make a payment in person over the counter. Credit cards are not accepted.
