Apply to discharge trade wastewater

Complete the form below to apply for, or vary, a trade wastewater agreement with Hunter Water to connect your business to the network.

An establishment or renewal fee will be applied once an application has been approved. 

If you are renewing your agreement and the footprint of the property has changed, you will need to submit a site plan and working drawings.

New facility or changing an existing facility?

If you’re building a new trade wastewater facility or making changes to an existing one, you’ll need to submit a hydraulic design assessment application before applying to discharge trade wastewater.

Industrial waste business?

If you are a business which produces industrial trade wastewater, please contact the Compliance team to discuss submitting sample data before you apply to discharge.

I, being the registered landowner of the property, or a person lawfully authorised to act under a registered Power of Attorney granted by the owner, confirm that I am aware of this application and that the business activity will be (or is currently being) carried out at the property. I acknowledge that all applicable charges, including water and sewer service fees, will be levied against the property owner in accordance with the standard billing process.
