Local Reservoir Construction as Part of the Chichester Scheme

Newcastle No. 2 and Waratah Reservoir, with a capacity of five megalitres and, 41 megalitres of water respectively, were completed. These reservoirs formed part of the Chichester Water Supply Scheme which would keep pace with demand for water and assist in making the supply more reliable.
