Hunter Water undertook extensive environmental weed removal around the bank of Grahamstown Dam in two areas: within the vicinity of Grahamstown Road and Fairlands Road and in the vicinity of Richardson Road and the
Pacific Highway.

The Toronto wastewater system upgrade has been completed to cater for population growth and reduce the frequency of wet weather sewage overflows.

Hunter Water has upgraded the wastewater system in the Windale and Gateshead areas.
This work has reduced the frequency of sewage overflows occurring during wet weather, providing benefits for the local community and environment.
