UPDATE: Bottled water station at Windale

4:45pm: Water supply has now been restored to customers in Belmont North, Jewells and Windale, following earlier water main breaks at eastern Lake Macquarie.

We'd like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding, while our crews repaired the breaks.

4pm: Water supply has been restored to customers in Belmont North and Jewells, following earlier water main breaks at eastern Lake Macquarie.

A small number of customers in Windale may still be experiencing low water pressure or an outage. Our crews are on site working to repair breaks in the area, which are estimated to be complete by 8pm.

Affected customers can collect bottled water until 4pm today from Hunter Barnett Oval on South Street at Windale. After this time, customers can purchase bottled water and retain their receipts for reimbursement of reasonable expenses. Customers can email their receipts and bank details to enquiries@hunterwater.com.au If customers are unable to purchase water, they can call our customer team direct on 1300 657 000.

We apologise for the inconvenience and thank our customers for their patience while we work to repair the breaks as quickly and safely as possible.

CURRENT WATER OUTAGES

DISCOLOURED WATER

On occasion, issues may arise with the water we supply, including discolouration.

Dirty water can happen during planned maintenance on the water supply network or during emergency repairs to fix a fault in the network.
