Water Supply

At Hunter Water, we supply water to more than half a million people in the Lower Hunter region of New South Wales. Over 240,000 properties are connected to our water supply network.

Hunter Water supplies a small volume of bulk treated water to Midcoast Water customers in Karuah and can also supply and receive bulk treated water from Wyong Council.

Transportation - Water Supply Transfer

It takes 4,944 km of pipes, 98 pumping stations and 79 reservoirs to transport 68 billion litres of water to our customers each year.
