Cessnock water trunkmain upgrade

The Cessnock region is one of the Hunter’s major growth areas. By 2030, it is expected that there will be an additional 5,800 residential and business connections to the water supply network.

To help cater for this growth, we will be delivering a package of water network upgrades in Cessnock over the next four years. These upgrades will also improve water supply for customers who sometimes experience low water pressure and reduce the risk of major water supply interruptions.

Part of this upgrade is building a new watermain in Cessnock, between the Maitland Road and David Street intersection, through to Mount View Road.
