Harpers Hill Reservoir and Lochinvar trunk main upgrade
Project overview
We are replacing the ageing water reservoir at Harpers Hill with a higher volume structure to provide a more reliable water service for the area’s growing population.
We are also planning to build an additional pipeline to transfer more water to the reservoir. This pipeline will run from our pumping station at 11 St Helena Close, Lochinvar to the new reservoir.
Construction of the reservoir and new pipeline is planned to start from late 2023, and is expected to take just over a year to complete.
The existing reservoir at Harpers Hill will be decommissioned after the new reservoir is built.
