Nominate for Consultative Forum Membership

Hunter Water is seeking new members to join its Community Consultative Forum to represent the following sections of the Community:

  • People with a disability
  • People identifying as Aboriginal
  • Organisations that represent low income households

The Community Consultative Forum allows Hunter Water to engage in two-way, open communication with local councils, customer representatives, environmental and community groups to gain feedback on customer and community interests in relation to our operations. The Community Consultative Forum reviews Hunter Water's plans and activities and provides community involvement in decision-making. The role of each member is to provide advice on issues relevant to the section of the community they represent.

Established in 1989, the Forum meets three times each year from 9.30am until 12noon. Meetings are usually held in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie or the Maitland area.

To apply for Community Consultative Forum membership, download and complete the nomination form and return by email.

Expressions of Interest for membership of the Community Consultative Forum will remain open until the vacancies are filled.
