Raymond Terrace Wastewater System Upgrade

Overview

Raymond Terrace Wastewater Treatment Works Image

Hunter Water is currently upgrading the Raymond Terrace wastewater system.

This work will reduce the frequency of sewage overflows occurring during wet weather, providing benefits for the local community and environment.

The upgrade will also provide capacity for future population growth.

The work involves upgrading the wastewater pumping stations on Murulla Crescent and Sturgeon Street (next to Woolworths carpark).

How this might affect you?

Residents and businesses near the pumping stations may be affected by noise during the work.

Measures have been taken to minimise any impacts generated by the works.

Your patience is appreciated as we undertake these essential construction works.

The work is expected to be completed by mid April 2012.
