Overview
Hunter Water places flow meters on the water distribution system to help identify where leaks occur. Approximately 80 flow meters are already in operation and over the next five years, Hunter Water proposes to install an additional 40 flow meters within our area of operations.
Flow meters will be installed in the vicinity of the following locations:
- Main Road, Glendale
- Cormorant Road, Kooragang Island
- Pit Street, The Hill

How this might affect you?
Construction will include excavation around the watermain to facilitate the installation of the flow meter and electrical components. The trench will then be backfilled and restored to its current condition once the work is complete.
