Hunter Water is undertaking the Stage 2 upgrade of the Burwood Beach Wastewater Treatment Works from August 2011 through to June 2012. Planning is also underway for a Stage 3 upgrade of the for the Burwood Beach Wastewater Treatment Works.

Showerhead exchanges will be happening across the lower Hunter over the coming weeks, with the first kicking off at Kurri Kurri Library Saturday 19 May, 9am-12 noon.
