The Tomaree Tilligerry Transfer Pipeline will improve Hunter Water’s ability to meet growing customer demand, particularly during summer months when the population in the Port Stephens and Lemon Tree Passage areas significantly increase.
Further review has resulted in this project being deferred for the foreseeable future due to the stability of current water supply. The project is unlikely to commence prior to 2017 unless severe drought conditions are experienced in this region.
