Hunter Water's employee funding provides opportunities for employees to participate in community events which support Hunter Water's core values. The funding is for teams of staff participating in local activities, not individuals.
In 2011-12, Hunter Water will fund the following employee teams:

- Twilight Nine Social Golf Club
- Sparke Helmore Triathlon
- Adventure Racing
- Hunter Water Corporation v Hunter Water Australia cricket match
