Hunter Water has been a proud supporter of the Hunter Surf Lifesaving movement for over 30 years. The service the volunteers of this great organisation provide is invaluable to our beach-loving community and has helped reduce the number of lives lost in the surf each year. This year Hunter Water will remain the naming rights sponsor of the Hunter Water Support operation Unit, which consists of seven jet skis, able to perform quick rescues manoeuvring to rock shelves and perform in large seas as a vital service to the community.

Hunter Wetlands Centre
The Hunter Wetlands Centre Australia plays a central role in the conservation and management of the Shortland Wetlands with important work in environmental education and building capacity within the community. The RAMSAR protected site provides habitat for a wide variety of birds, mammals, frogs and reptiles. Hunter Water is a major sponsor of this centre.
