Fees and Charges

Fees and charges apply for the discharge of trade waste and tankered waste. The revenue from the fees and charges is mainly used to pay for the additional treatment costs associated with treating these wastes, which are of higher strength than standard domestic sewage. Hunter Water also employs a team of inspectors to monitor and support trade waste customers.
