The Forum – Healthier Schools Water Conservation Program
The Forum’s aquatics-based healthier schools program offers a diverse range of learn to swim and royal life saving activities for kindergarten through to year 12.
The Forum, with assistance from Hunter Water, has implemented a successful water conservation component to the program which encourages water saving practices by children.
Funding from Hunter Water allows The Forum to continue this valuable component at no extra cost for all school students who participate in this program. Nine schools and almost 1900 students will participate in this program during 2007.
Hunter Water’s Oggie the Froggie is invited along each term to help spread the waterwise message.
