Improving services to customers in Louth Park and Cessnock

As part of this program, Hunter Water is upgrading our water service to customers in the Maitland and Cessnock areas.

In December, construction concluded on a new 3km watermain at Louth Park, and began on a new 6.5km watermain in Weston, Abermain and Cessnock. These watermains will improve the performance of the local residents’ water system during summer when demand is at its highest. The upgrades will also improve water pressure and provide additional capacity for the anticipated population growth in these areas.
