Dudley Charlestown Wastewater Transportation System Upgrade

Hunter Water has completed upgrade works to the Dudley/Charlestown Wastewater Transportation System.

The system runs through the Glenrock State Recreation Area from Burwood Road, Whitebridge to the Burwood Beach Wastewater Treatment Works.

The works have improved the performance of the wastewater transportation system and reduce wastewater overflows occurring during wet weather.

Restoration and regeneration of the area will be undertaken by Trees In Newcastle over the next two years.
