Dungog Water Dosing Facility
Hunter Water plans to construct a powdered activated carbon (PAC) and potassium permanganate (KMnO4) dosing facility upstream of the Dungog Water Treatment Plant, near Hennys Road. Hunter Water has undertaken significant investigations into the community and environmental impacts of the proposed water dosing plant at Dungog. The dosing facility will include construction of a large green shed to house the dosing equipment. It is anticipated that construction on the project will commence in 2010.
