Newline Road Bund - Flood Prevention Levy Bank

Hunter Water and its contractors, Daracon, have finished stage 1 construction of a levy bank along Newline Road at Raymond Terrace.

These works have been undertaken to provide increased protection to areas downstream of the Grahamstown Dam from flooding.

The levy bank has since been left to settle and Daracon will be returning to the site around September 2010 to undertake the final stage of works, in order to achieve the design height.
