Dungog Clear Water Tank

Hunter Water has commenced construction on the clear water tank, located immediately west of the existing Dungog Water Treatment Plant and the Chichester Trunk Gravity Main (CTGM).

The purpose of the work is to provide additional storage of treated water to the satisfaction of the Hunter New England Area Health Service.

Hunter Water Australia has prepared a Review of Environmental Factors on behalf of Hunter Water Corporation to assess the potential environmental impacts of the proposal. A independent visualisation study was also undertaken to determine the visual impacts to the surrounding residents.
