Development Services Plans (DSPs) Recycled Water
As of 1.00pm December 17, 2008 the NSW State Government announced that developer charges for water and sewer within Hunter Water's area of operations have been abolished.
Accordingly, Hunter Water's Notice of Formal Requirements will not include a requirement to pay for water and sewer developer charges.
Contributions by developers will still be required for recycled water schemes, out of sequence development, and infrastructure required in advance of Hunter Water's current Forward Capital Works Program.
All other fees and charges remain applicable.
System Capacity
Capacity within Hunter Water's water and sewer systems will only be available upon completion of all conditions outlined in the Notice of Formal Requirements within 12 months of its date of issue.
