Welcome to the Hunter Water Website

Glovers Hill TP

The treatment process at this water treatment plant involves aeration and chemical dosing.

At the Glovers Hill plant, water is aerated by two wood slat tray aerators. After aeration, the water is chemically dosed with chlorine (for disinfection), caustic soda (for pH adjustment) and fluosilicic acid (for dental health).

The nominal maximum capacity at the plant is 12 megalitres per day.
