Community Funding Program

Hunter Water provides water and wastewater services to a large community that has a wide range of interests. The Hunter Water Community Funding Program looks at investing in a number of opportunities that reflect our vision, mission and corporate objectives.
Hunter Water sees the Community Funding Program as a way to build relationships with our many stakeholders, including customers, industry and the wider community in which we operate.
Hunter Water now invites applications for 2010/11 Community Funding Program.
Organisations located within our area of operations covering Newcastle, Dungog, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock and Port Stephens local government areas are encourage to apply. All previously sponsored applicants must re-apply.
Funding is separated into two categories
- Community Grants which provides localised funding to community organisations in key areas of water conservation, sustainability, environmental and social outcome, giving direct benefit to the community.
For more information on Community Grants please contact Irene White on 4979 9443 or email irene.white@hunterwater.com.au
- Corporate Sponsorship which is designed to enhance relationships with our key stakeholders and should also give us a return on our investment.
