Review of Environmental Factors - Burwood Beach WWTW Stage 2 Upgrade

The Stage 2 Upgrade of the plant will ensure the plant can reliably meet existing licence requirements and operate to its design capacity and is part of a Pollution Reduction Program (PRP) agreed with the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC).

CH2M HILL has prepared a Review of Environmental Factors (REF) on behalf of HWC to assess the potential environmental impacts of the Stage 2 Upgrade. HWC are the proponent and determining authority pursuant to Part 5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. The Concept Design has been developed concurrently with the REF, to ensure that environmental requirements have been considered and incorporated during the design phase.

The REF for the Stage 2 Upgrade is available for comment from 22 September 2008 to 24 October 2008 and can be downloaded using the links below.  If you experience any difficulties with downloading this information, please contact David Derkenne on 1300 657 657.
