This Contract comprises two portions of work as follows:-
SEPARABLE PORTION 1 – CONSTRUCTION OF ANNA BAY WATERMAIN
This Separable Portion involves:
- Construction of approximately 4100m of DN300 watermain from the junction of Gordon Close, Anna Bay to near Hannah Parade, One Mile (including 4 trenchless road crossings),
- Construction of approximately 150m of DN375 watermain along Clark Street, Anna Bay,
- Construction of flow valve control pit and associated electrical and telemetry works
SEPARABLE PORTION 2 – THORNTON NORTH WATERMAIN
This Separable Portion involves:
- Construction of approximately 6600m of DN500 watermain from Stoney Pinch Junction, Black Hill to Raymond Terrace Road, Thornton (including 1 aerial crossing of a creek and trenchless crossings of 6 minor roads, New England Highway, a private coal mine railway and the main northern railway),
- Construction of approximately 1000m of DN375 watermain along Raymond Terrace Road and Brickworks Road, Thornton (including 1 trenchless road crossing),
- Removal of approximately 515m of DN150mm watermain and replacing with approximately 515m of DN300 watermain, along Haussman Drive, Thornton,
- Capping of the DN150 watermain on Raymond Terrace Road, Thornton.
