Hunter Valley Research Foundation (HVRF) commenced operations in 1956, following the 1955 Maitland Floods. Hunter Water is proud to have been involved with HVRF’s research program for over fifty years. The program covers the entire Hunter Region, and offers insight into environmental, social, economic and demographic issues.

The Hunter has benefited from the expertise and leadership of HVRF, which has provided independent research and analysis to support all business, government representative and the local community.
