This Contract is for the Protective Coating of Swansea No.2 Reservoir, located off Scenic Drive, Caves Beach.
The reservoir is approximately 30 metres in diameter with 7 metre high walls and a pitched steel roof.
Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to:-
- Removal of all the existing protective coating from the internal wall, roof truss, central column and underside roof, external wall, roof handrails, ladders and external pipework.
- A total containment method shall be used for the duration of the external preparation and protective coating works.
- Application of protective coating to internal wall, roof truss, column, underside roof and pipework.
- Application of protective coating to external wall, roof surfaces, access handrails and pipework.
- Removal of redundant steelwork
- Minor steel fabrication
- Restoration of all disturbed areas.
A Mandatory site meeting will be held at 10.00am 26 March ’08.
