Belmont Ocean Outfall
This DSP details the developer charges relative to the Belmont Ocean Outfall. The DSP is restricted to those assets related to the Belmont Ocean Outfall and the growth in sewage flow from the Edgeworth, Toronto, Dora Creek and Belmont WWTW catchments as shown on Exhibit 2, located in Appendix A.
Effluent flows from Edgeworth and Toronto WWTW catchments are currently pumped under Lake Macquarie to the Belmont Ocean Outfall hydraulic control structure for discharge via the outfall, along with effluent from the Belmont WWTW. Following the extension of the Dora Creek effluent pipeline in 2009, effluent flows from the Dora Creek WWTW will also be transferred to the Belmont Ocean Outfall hydraulic control structure for discharge via the Belmont Ocean Outfall. Developer charges for the relevant sewerage transportation system and relevant WWTW are also applicable to the service area for the Belmont Ocean Outfall.
