Hunter Water's Standard Technical Specifications define Hunter Water's default technical requirements for a variety of materials and classes of work associated with the construction and maintenance of Hunter Water's water and sewer systems.
Hunter Water's Standard Drawings depict Hunter Water's default construction practice requirements for Hunter Water's water and sewer systems.
Hunter Water's Water and Sewer Design Manual defines parameters and practices to be adopted in designing components of Hunter Water's water and sewer systems.
Risk assessments are required prior to work being undertaken by contractors and Hunter Water have prepared hazard profiles to assist in this regard.
Suppliers of high volume key goods and services are selected using a request for quote process
Hunter Water requires that particular components of its water and sewer systems be of approved products manufactured by approved manufacturers.
Hunter Water requires that certain classes of work be undertaken by contractors approved for that class of work.
Hunter Water requires that water and sewer systems for new developments be designed by approved design consultants.
