General Manager System Operations
System Operations is the Hunter Water engineering division responsible for the oversight of all operational assets (from water catchments and dams, water treatment, through the pipe systems and ultimately wastewater treatment and disposal). The division is also responsible for managing all necessary maintenance activities on a day-to-day basis and assists with the development of the asset management strategies that support this maintenance effort in a way that achieves the least cost outcomes for required service levels.
These functions are delivered under a structure that comprises four separate work groups as follows:
